the elder scrolls!!!!! morrowind was my first big open world rpg and i spent SO much money renting it from blockbuster lmao. oblivion is my favorite tho :)

11. Do you prefer ‘blank slate’ main characters you make yourself or otherwise project onto, or characters with a set personality and backstory?

HMMMM i like both!! it depends on the genre/story imo. like, i GUESS i like blank slates more? bc its fun to shape the player character how u want! but also theres a lot of games i love where that just wouldn't work.

18. A game location you really like

YOKOHAMA MY BELOVED!!!!!!!!! one of my fave things abt yakuza is getting used to the map in early games and knowing where everything is by heart in later games lmfao

i think i realized i was really hooked in the greed island arc, but then again, i love bisky. for me hxh is one of those rare shows that only get better the more i watch, which i find rare with other shonen anime about Fighting And Being Strong

1 and 4?

1. A favorite character you have played. 

My default is Altair, my Twilight Sage Arcanist, but technically he’s a Pathfinder character so I don’t know how much he counts.  A Twilight Sage is an archtype of Arcanist, and what that means is that I was fucking rad at necromancy.  Altair was a lot of fun because of his story, which was inspired by Papyrus and Sans from Undertale, and no, I will not explain further.

I’m also very fond of Sam, my Gloomstalker Ranger, because he was SUPER fun to play.

4. Your current campaign.

I’m currently in two!  There’s the doggie campaign DMed by @nekosd43, where I play a pitbull Artificer named Pickles.  And I just started DMing a game that’s loosely based on the plot of Final Fantasy IV.

oh, i thought you meant like, if there was any lgbt rep before the end of the show. i didnt realize you were talkning about main chars specifically! sorry about that ^^’ but yeah, seeing a relationship develop during the show as an actual couple is rewarding in another way than just knowing they got together in the end. a western cartoon im hoping might do that is kipo (provided they get a second season), but so far thats a big “maybe”

Naw that was my bad for not specifying I meant main characters in the first place. Also I’m pretty sure Kipo season 2 is coming out next month. I’m looking forward to it, I really enjoyed the first season.

i mean, it did have adult married same-sex couples as background characters earlier than that, and those characters did explicitly mention their relationships. i havent seen the last season yet (and somehow i havent seen that mamy spoilers), but if catra and adora got together im guessing the creators waited until this season to get enough character development for them to be able to build a good relationship

I’ve only watched the first season so I don’t really know much but I was specifically talking about main characters. I wasn’t necessarily saying I think they should’ve gotten together earlier, I have no idea. I was just pointing out a trend. That said though I do think it’s generally more interesting to have a couple get together mid series and build on the relationship than to have getting together be the end goal. 

That’s cool that theres more lgbt background characters though, I think I heard about there being a nonbinary one? That’s pretty cool.
