Generation 2 - Sally Fletcher - Rose
Yangjin's youngest daughter, Sally (named after Sally Hull from Meet the Austins by Madeleine L'Engle) is the result of a surprise alien abduction resulting in an unplanned pregnancy. Yangjin believed she would only have 2 children in her lifetime, but scientific curiosity led her to keep the pregnancy despite her hatred of children, and upon Sally's birth Yangjin did not have the heart to send her family to the homeworld Sixam. Surely one day Sally will grow up to be an interesting adult, and that will make her far more tolerable. Yangjin's husband Cameron Fletcher had no objections to this child taking his name, and adopted her as a caregiver. It remains to be seen whether Sally's relationship with her stepfather will be better than her sister Yumi's. Sally's biological father is Pollination Technician #3, meaning that she and Yumi are full siblings despite the different family names.
Sally is one of the candidates for the Rose heir of generation 2, in the running with her Sim half-sister Hana Fletcher.
