Once upon a time there was this awesome friend named Renee Harper! @_sweetmidnight_ She won a storage auction and came across this old Etch A Sketch and mailed it to me from Arizona! Because she is a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion (a big understatement). I told her I would do a drawing from it and we concluded that it would be her favorite stretched painting! . . The wallpaper pattern is not the same as the stretched room, but I felt it was a much more fun and challenging choice. . . I used my "shadow effect" to create a great shading look to the picture as well as the wood tone of the frame. . . I decided that I should find more old Etch A Sketches on Ebay to finish this series! Not all of them worked, but I got it done in the end! . . My idea was to design each drawing so that half of the wallpaper halves would match up when pieced together.
