Sass doesn’t like being off the island. They really hate it. They go to the mainland for class, sure, and then take the next ferry back as soon as possible. But one of their classes runs late this time and the ferry doesn’t go all night. So they need to do something. They don’t stick around in the town with the ferry, if they’re stuck on the mainland they may as well go somewhere they haven’t seen before. 

There are a lot of small town on the coast of North Carolina, but they all hold something new and interesting, they know that well enough. Like... Wherever they are now. They honestly didn’t bother to ask, they just walked until they got tired, or maybe they;d hitchhiked here? Their head hurt. They were tired. Something told them they should check out the woods. What was it? They didn’t know. They just knew that they needed to figure out what the hell was going on in there. 

Because something was. Something... Was. Hmm.

“Heyo!” They call. Probably not a really great. Plan. They don’t actually have! A plan! “Sup in here?”

A small sigh left the woman as she flipped the, ‘open,’ sign to show her shop was closed. It was clear that it was Mardi Gras season; her store was a mess with herbs and charms in the wrong spots, and displays that needed to be restocked. Pasyan was too tired to deal with it, she would just have to open later tomorrow. She shut off the lights and made her way to the back door, grabbing her bag and leaving the shop.

Pas kicked off her shoes once she was in the house, taking a moment to listen for her boys rummaging around. Most of the lights were off, it being almost two in the morning, and they did have school the next day- they better be asleep. She paused through, feeling a vibe that didn’t settle with her quite well- it was too quiet in her house. A frown crossed her features and she continued to the kitchen, grabbing a snack to eat before going to sleep. For some reason she just couldn’t shake the feeling that rested heavily in her chest- it felt like anxiety or sadness, but she wouldn’t know why she would be feeling either.

Her aching feet carried her upstairs and to her bedroom door, which she paused again before opening- was this where the feeling was coming from? Holding her breath, the brunette opened the door- almost immediately coming in contact with glowing eyes from where her bed was. 

“..Eros?”

She whispered, stepping in and pulling the string to her dim lamp. He was laying on her bed in his puma form- something was wrong, he rarely greeted her in this fashion. Her motherly-esque instincts kicked in and she sat herself on the floor beside her bed, resting her head on the corner and looking him right in the eyes.

“You okay? Wanna talk?”

@salmiire Leaving home was always met with mixed feelings; the idea of not seeing his wife for months at a time was something that made Amara feel uneasy, but there was the excitement of adventuring that always kept him leaving anyways. Besides that, The Night Owls rarely took no for an answer, and he knew what happened to agents who tried to argue. He’d like to keep his head on his shoulders, thank you very much. It had been some weeks since he had left, and only recently that he had finally arrived at the dirt planet, Earth. A little planet full of people who thought themselves big, it was one of the places that he was most often sent to gather data. He wasn’t sure why The Night Owls were so damn interested in the place - as far as he saw, it was just a lesser version of his own planet. These people were still suffering from shit like diabetes, for Gods sake!  But like saying no, he also knew better than to ask questions. A cigarette rested between his lips as he walked, smoke coming out of his nose as he breathed out. Quick steps made his journey to an old friend’s home a short one, and he knocked at the door, waiting outside. It had been over a year since he had seen Apollo, a local of this planet that he’d accidentally befriended. He’d fed him lies, saying he was simply a traveler (and really, that wasn’t a complete lie) which kept him going place to place.  It wouldn’t hurt to see a friendly face though - after all, he had spent the trip completely alone, and one’s mind always does strange things when it has nothing but itself to entertain.

Did you have any characters in mind while creating your characters?

Easy Meme

For Tya, not characters. Originally, she was a self insert. I really had nothing in mind when I first made her, I just started writing and she came out as a terrible Mary Sue.

Lucien and Sophie, also not characters, rather a story. I was legitimately just angry that Twilight was getting attention for it’s shit take on romance and vampirism, so I decided to write something better and Sophie and Lucien came along.

he’s just reached downstairs, arms falling off to his sides after finishing putting his shirt on. now, he’s never been one for  too much  courtesy. back when he was a ripper, when he was going into other people’s homes, invitation wasn’t needed. sometimes he expected others to give the courtesy to him of knocking on  his  door, but that was a long time ago, as stated. when he was  very  reckless and  dangerous.

so... you can see why he has a  bit  of a problem having a stranger in his home... especially since his  kids  are upstairs.
