Though all she wanted to do was retreat to her quarters and collect herself before she would inevitably have to be the Shepherds’ pillar once again, Robin felt it would be remiss not to seek out the one who had made their escape from Plegia possible in the first place. It was this thought that propelled her to wander the halls of the fort currently being used as their headquarters, searching until she caught sight of a familiar head of pink hair.
“Olivia?” she called out hesitantly, somewhat surprised by the way her voice cracked. She cleared her throat. “I...I just wanted to say thank you--for organizing our means for escape...I had hoped such measures wouldn’t have been needed, but we really couldn’t have asked for more.” The smile she gave was hollow, but it was a smile all the same.
