Gulf Salt Marsh Snake (Nerodia c. clarkii), non-venomous, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, TX, USA
Growing up to 30 inches long, these snakes live in the salt marshes of the Gulf Coast of the United States. They feed on fish and freshly molted (softshell) crabs and shrimp.
