Through The Cold And Lonely Nights! My names are Anjorin Joseph David, also known as Jaydboy, I'm a singer, songwriter and professional barber. I love acting a lot as well. I'm based in Lagos. My dad is a prophet while my mom is an evangelist. In 1998, my mom and dad got separated and my dad got married to another woman who maltreated me and my brother for 3 years. I only have a secondary school certificate. I dropped out of school fifteen years ago because my mom could not afford to send me to school and I was so stubborn as well. I grew up on the street of Lagos and Ogun state. I ran away from home in the year 2007 and I've been sleeping on the road ever since. It's been fifteen years down the line and I'm still on the street striving. I couldn't stay with dad or mom for too long because of family problems. My childhood was tough as hell. I started selling different types of snacks, water, sweets, rice etc, in traffic way back in Ogun state at the age of ten and continued in Lagos till I was 21 years old. I remember in 2006 when the Landlord sent me and my mom out for not being able to pay the rent, we had to go to an uncompleted building to sleep and that was our home for over 2years. We almost died of malaria (with my 2 siblings). In 2004, I narrowly escaped death around Mushin in Lagos state where I was almost burnt alive. They had already put the tire on my head, poured kerosene on me and it was just for them to get a lighter to light me up when someone came around to save me. TESTIMONY: I Was Hit By COVID-19 —Pastor Janet Boynes After returning from a trip on August 21st, I felt very sick. At first, I thought it was the flu. Until I lost all taste and smell, and then I knew I needed to get tested. It came back positive for the covid-19 virus. It has taken some time but here I am back to feeling normal again, however, I have not regained my senses of taste and smell yet. My awesome Dr. said it will return but it might take some time. I am so thankful that I am feeling much better because I have a praying Dr., plus, she was able to prescribe everything that I needed in order to recover. My salvation is eternally secure and assured by the finished work of Christ on Calvary- Tomi Favored I am Tomi Favored, a worshiper, singer, songwriter, nurse and am blessed to be married to a great husband, Minister Seyi Alesh. We have 2 wonderful children, Isaac  Bella by God's grace. I am the youngest of 3 daughters of my amazing mother and father. I was born and raised in Kaduna, Nigeria until I moved with my family to the United States at age 12. My Dad was a teacher of Braille at the university level and a soldier. My mother was a great nurse. They are both older and retired now. I attended high school and college in California where I lived for 16 years before moving to Texas with my hubby after getting married. My childhood was good. It wasn't easy but it wasn't too hard either. My family wasn't rich but God always provided for us and my parents were hard-working in spite of the horrible economy of where we lived. Plus being the youngest of my two elder sisters, I'm sure I was shielded and sheltered from most stresses as much as possible. Even if there was a lack, I know everyone sacrificed so I would never have to know or feel it. But being older now, I understand many ways in which they all had to struggle and work hard to make things work and I love and appreciate them for it. My family was your standard Nigerian Christian family who went to church every Sunday and bible study on Wednesdays when possible. Growing up in the North, we were always surrounded by Hausa Muslims but we were average Christians who coexisted well with everyone. When my sisters weren't working or in school, they were in the choir and I loved music from a young age so God somehow made my gifting obvious and I joined the adult choir as the youngest around age 8 or so. Do You Know A Diet Consisting Mainly Of Fruit Is Bad For You? Plant-based diets have become increasingly popular in recent years, both for health and ethical reasons. One extreme form of a plant-based diet is fruitarianism, a diet based largely on the consumption of raw fruit. At first glance, this may sound healthy, but what effect will this type of restrictive diet have on the body? And is it a healthy diet choice? There is solid evidence that plant-based diets are good for the body. Plant-based diets may reduce the risk of heart disease by 40 and stroke by 29. Plant-based diets have also been shown to be a useful strategy for helping people lose weight. While plant-based diets have clear benefits for health and environmental sustainability, fruitarianism is one of the most restrictive diet choices available and has almost no evidence to support health benefits. There is no definitive description of what a fruitarian diet should consist of, although one commonly cited rule is that between 55 and 75 of the diet should comprise raw fruit. Beyond this, there is some variability some fruitarians eat grains, some also eat nuts and oils. Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs, experimented with a fruitarian diet, supplementing it with nuts, seeds and grains. Some adherents of fruitarianism stick to an 80-10-10 rule 80 of calories coming from fresh fruit and vegetables, 10 coming from protein and 10 from fat. This rule is mistakenly based on the belief that humans are not omnivores, but frugivores animals that prefer to eat raw fruit. My relationship with God was somewhat like a dance— Dr Tony L. Warrick I am Dr Tony L. Warrick and I am an entrepreneur, educator, author of a book called Jesus and Coffee, and ambassador for the Kingdom of #Heaven. I am the third of five children and I was born and raised in Washington, DC, U.S.A. In 1997, I relocated to North Carolina to earn a Bachelors degree, two Masters Degrees, as well as a Doctor of Theology degree. Lastly, I am married to a beautiful woman. Growing up in Washington, D.C., I had to overcome incredible odds. For me, it was all about survival. There were unbelievable levels of violence motivated by the need and desire to obtain drugs, and territories for drugs distribution. There were witness killings and retaliatory killings. I experienced several of my schoolmates being killed by gun violence and I've been held up at gunpoint, twice. Washington, D.C had become known as the Murder Capital of the United States. As I look back over my life, I cannot remember a time when #God was not a part of my life. My relationship with God was somewhat like a dance, sometimes it has been slow and affectionate, other times it has been fast and reckless. There have been times when I replaced Him with other dance partners and there have been times when He was the only one I could see myself dancing with. I had been going to church mostly all my life but never understand what it meant to be saved. Every week, I went to Sunday morning Bible study, Sunday service, Wednesday night bible study, usher practice, choir rehearsal, and in the summer, I went to Bible school. I felt I had enough church for a lifetime. When I left Washington, D.C. in 1997 to attend college on a track and field scholarship, I surely wandered around in the wilderness chasing women instead of chasing God.
