After the King's Cross massacre and a failed attempt at foreign interference, Parliament was recalled for an emergency session. The next morning, the PM's office issued a public statement. It frontpaged every newspaper. For the safety of the public, the country entered a state of exception. The charter was suspended indefinitely. So indefinitely that thirty-some years later it remained void.

If you asked her, Catherine would have told you it was high time to set things straight. Not that she had been idle. The Resistance was always looking for a way to fix this mess.

Summary: Charles Partner was excecuted by Jackson Lamb for being a traitor on the orders of David Cartwright in 1996. Catherine Standish found the body.

But when River reveals something to Lamb, Berlin changes.

Charles Partner wasn't a traitor. He was just a guy, maybe too nice for his own good and just like everyone else, that made him a target. It made him easy to pin things on.

I've said it before and ill say it again and now I've written it too. Charles Partner wasn't the fucking mole and youre going to listen to why. Also Diana Taverner is hot, also Lamb and Catherine have too much lore not to write about them.
