I do love some, y’know same actor different roles crossovers in general but I think in Bridgerton it could be so interesting for Anthony because some options are
Fiyero: A prince??? Constant flirt, rather irresponsible, loves to have fun, very unlike Anthony but maybe someone he could have been (bi)
Sam: Crazy, spontaneous, crude, irresponsible but lacking many of the responsibilities Anthony has, probably the most unlike Anthony guy (bi)
Henry Loomis: Nerd. Weird guy, likes science, wants to be fossilized after he dies. But cute, v soft and earnest. Not Anthony’s complete opposite but completely different on another dimension.
Tim Laughlin: Smart ingenue political guy. Possibly the most similar to Anthony guy mentioned and even he is quite a departure (gay)
Yet having any of them around the Bridgertons would be like how would Anthony be like without the weight of responsibility.
Would he be as hedonistic as Fiyero or Sam? One could argue there’s hint of it in his being a rake. Would he have been easy-going with a more lax view of the world and its rules had he been the second son rather than Benedict?
Would he have pursued some era of study? Become as passionate over a topic as Henry or Tim? Like really what are Anthony’s interests besides Kate? Horses? Winning small competitions? Fencing? He is rather intense about Kate. And his duties. But would he have pursued some academic or political interest with that intensity had he been given the time to do so?
Also if Sam and/or Fiyero just kiss a guy everyone just looks at Anthony. This goes one of two ways: Anthony already knows he’s bi and messed around a bit in college (with Simon— shh) AND NOBODY WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW or immediately starts having an identity crisis because he’s not had time to think about his sexuality at any time ever because he’s been living stressed out for the past ten years
