are you comfortable answering questions of whether or not you're in a relationship/your sexuality? (just curious tbh! I know that in tumblr it can seem like EVERYTHING ALWAYS has to be about that, but.. I'm not trying to do that.. it's just.. curiosity. And if you're not comfortable, that's cool too :) )

No, yeah, it’s fine to ask. There’s a couple reasons I’ve avoided talking about that topic up to now, one of which is what you mentioned. I don’t like how Tumblr approaches the ideas of sexuality and gender and such. I feel like labels like that are a double edged sword, freeing on one side and restrictive on the other. I believe that they are overall a detrimental influence. That’s a discussion for another time, though. Most of all, I haven’t said anything on the topic because it ain’t that big of a deal. 

So, to answer your question, I’m straight, but I don’t really engage with my sexuality at all. Similar to my position on religion, it just ain’t a part of my life. I’ve never had time to engage in either faith or romance, and I don’t really mind the lack of either. I’ve got more important things to think about (like space, my one true love). 

Also, I’ve tried dating, and it’s more stressful than it’s worth. Kissing is fun, I guess, but not fun enough to justify continuous anxiety. Friendships are easier, and for me more meaningful. My nerd clan gives me all the companionship I could ever want :)
