Honestly I am EXTREMELY not over SPN giving Dean have a dog in the last season when it has been exampled more than once that Dean doesn’t even like dogs and didn’t want them in his car and also that Sam fucking loves dogs and always wanted one and never could get one because of his dad and brother and their insane hunter lifestyle.

THIS IS FUCKING BONES ERASURE.  BONES WAS THERE FOR SAM WHEN HE RAN AWAY AS A KID IN FLAGSTAFF.  HE LOVED HIM.  SAM PROBABLY HAD TO LEAVE THAT POOR DOG THERE WHILE HIS FATHER DRAGGED HIM BACK INTO THE CAR. 

It is also a GODDAMN SLAP IN THE FACE to the SPN canon. THE FUCKING DISRESPECT to Sam Winchester after that bullshit season where the whole of fandom practically hated him for hitting a dog and then taking care of it BECAUSE HE LOVES DOGS YOU FUCKS and “abandoning” Dean in Purgatory when he had no idea where he was or how to rescue him and just tried to move on like he was SUPPOSED TO DO AND THEN THEY GIFT DEAN A DOG AND NOT SAM IN THE FINAL SEASON.

NO I’M NOT OVER IT. I WON’T BE OVER IT.

“Imagine... Being Sam’s & Dean’s pet dog. They like to take you out on hunts, and Dean secretly liking you.”

Dean rubbed the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand, placing the blood machete in the back of the trunk of the Impala. Sam wasn’t far behind, a victorious smile on his face with you walking beside him, your tongue sticking out as you panted, tail wagging.

“Attagirl,” Sam smiled, reaching down he rubbed your soft fur, praising you. “Good huntin’ Y/N.”

You barked happily, tail wagging even more.

Dean rolled his eyes, closing the trunk of his Impala gently. He watched as his brother took to the passenger seat, leaving the mutt with him. 

That son of a... 

You barked again, standing next to your owner with a brightness in your eyes. even though Dean made it seem like he hated you, he actually had a soft side for your dark brown eyes. You were adorable! Especially when you were just a small pup.

Dean shook his head and sighed, crouching down he placed his hands on your head. Scratching under your chin he gave your side a good rub. You tilted your head to the side, enjoying the attention, you let out a groan of appreciation.

“Hey,” you looked at him, “Don’t tell Sammy, or else you won’t sleep in my room tonight.” Dean warned, narrowing his eyes at you.

You let out a whimper and placed your paw on his knee, sitting down you looked at him. 

Dean smiled, scratching your head.

“That’s my princess.”
