Remember me, Clarence?

Meg Appreciation Post
Oh, Meg. Few characters get the ability to switch sides the way she did. Starting out as a serious threat and ending as an ally willing to die for the people she cared about, Meg was one of the longest recurring antagonist-turned-ally on SPN. Here are some reasons to love and appreciate Meg.
We know so little about who she was before she was a demon. What was her real name? What did she sell her soul for? Who was she when she was alive? We’ll never know.Â
She took the name of her first possession victim on the show and just let it stick. Which is super interesting in terms of why. Did she hate her name and her past? Had she forgotten it? Did it just no matter anymore?Â
Her relationship with Azazel is interesting, too. She calls him “father” so it brings into question whether or not she was one of his “special children”.Â
Meg was responsible for a lot of death, for sure, but she did eventually choose to side with TFW even when it didn’t really affect her and could even cause her great harm. She provided a distraction for the Leviathans and she died to allow Sam to save Cas and Dean. She chose to be an independent character, choosing free will over loyalty to Crowley.
She had real, genuine feelings for Castiel. She was a demon, a corrupted soul destined for evil, who fell in love with and angel, a being of grace and light. He saw good in her, and maybe that allowed her to see good in herself, too. After all, he was the first person to treat her kindly in how long?
Her snark is amazing.
She wins the award for the most consistent wearer of a leather jacket.Â
She literally died for Castiel. She went off to hold off Crowley so Sam could save “her unicorn” ie. Castiel.Â
Sam and Dean more or less accepted her as an ally. She did bad things but she also helped and they forgave her. They trusted her enough to leave Castiel under her protection when he wasn’t in his right mind.
She faked credentials, got a job, and cared for Castiel when he couldn’t care for himself. This likely also meant she had to care for other patients in the mental institution and do so without arousing suspicion about who or what she really was. She also never got angry with Castiel for being out of his mind and was patient with him. And she killed to protect him and the rest of TFW.Â
She calls Castiel Clarence, which at first was likely a nickname because Clarance is the kind of doopey angel in It’s A Wonder Life. However, that nickname takes on new meaning as their relationship develops, as Clarence was the angel who made George Baley realize he was important to the world and the people around him. Perhaps Castiel made Meg realize the same about herself.Â
She’s one of three demons we’ve seen to have hell hounds.Â
We know so little about Meg, but she changed over the course of eight years from evil antagonist to begrudging ally. She started out with a single motivation and grew into a character who made her own choices and fought for the greater good. She grew and changed and it was fun to see a demon who had been committed to ending the world find something else worth devoting her time and life to.Â
For those who ask how Meg could be my favorite character, this. THIS is why.
She'll always be one of my absolute favourites
This was such an important moment to this fandom.

I love it, I love it but oh goodness she's Slytherin through and through!
Wip of a page I wanted to have feel like snapshots of a Midwest road trip for the boys.
sam and dean talkin shit when they don’t think the people they’ve worked with can hear them is literally going to get them killed again
Cas vs Voicemail
I saw it on the news and I thought, that’s the sort of thing Sam and Dean would investigate. They would roll into town, save the day, kill the monsters.
