Happy Swift disabled selfie night! I didn’t post for selfie nights at all last month because I had muscle lengething surgeries on both of my legs to treat my Cerebral Palsy. I spent the last month in leg casts and recently transitioned to leg braces, but I don’t have any pictures of them yet! I’m excited to start physical therapy tomorrow! I’m also diagnosed with Dystonia, Asthma, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and an eating disorder. @taylorswift @taylornation @tree-paine @swiftiesofcolor
Happy Swift disabled selfie night! May is Mental Health Awareness month. As someone who is diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and an eating disorder, is a self harm survivor, and has experienced suicidal ideation, mental health awareness means a lot to me and I wish it wasn’t as stigmatized as it is. Tumblr is the only platform that I can openly discuss mental health on, so thank you @swiftiesofcolor for being so inclusive of mental illnesses as disabilities and for giving Swifties a safe space to open up about their mental health. I am also diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, dystonia, and asthma!

did anyone else’s interpretation of this is me trying change after watching the long pond studio sessions? like taylor explaining that every second the narrator is trying not to drink made me completely change how i interpret the line “but i didn’t pour the whiskey.” this entire time i thought that meant that the narrator “didn’t pour the whiskey” because they didn’t pour it down the drain or something and they drank it, but now i’m realizing it was probably intended to be that instead of turning to drinking, they’re talking to somebody about how they feel instead. the sessions made me completely reevaluate how i interpret some lines and i absolutely love that distinction in this is me trying.
