Headcanon time!

My personal headcanon of season 10 goes like this:

Every conversation that Castiel has with Hannah (love, love, LOVE those conversations) is a reflection of conversations and interactions he had during his summer with Sam. So when he explains to Hannah not to say he looks awful, or that a relationship would be a distraction, he is echoing Sam.
