Yes! We actually spoke about it on our very first one-on-one crit together! I think I'm going to do more research on the comic though. I don't know it as well as i would like ;)

Delve.

Individual critiques are always one-on-one times that I look forward to. I always come in unsure of what to say or talk about, and leave feeling lifted and slightly overwhelmed by all the revelations and epiphanies uncovered during the talk. Tonight before I paint, I'm going to look through my old sketchbooks and figure out what I chose to censor when they are translated to paintings. Why do I do those things anyway? I am going to stop being so timid. As I exit the office, Sam concludes our meet with this.

Sam: I like your tumblr. You do a good job at posting your work on there.

Me: Thanks! I noticed that you've been posting a lot more, too.

Sam: I have more studio time to work on paintings. Plus, whenever I log on, I see that you've updated it. I need to step up my game!
