Apophis or Ra; Bra'tac or Sel'mak?

Apophis or Ra: They're both megalomaniac, over-the-top and obviously love their eyeliners. They make good, evil villains. Though, we only see him in the movie, I like Ra a little bit more. He was the big boss, the one and only, who spawned a resistance that named themselves after him: Tok'ra - against Ra. My choice is Ra.

Bra'tac or Sel'mak: That's unfair since I love them both. Among their own people, both are unconventional and not afraid to contradict conventional wisdom. They stand up for what they believe is right and do not bow down to pressure. Over the course of the show, they become treasured allies. If I have to decide (which I don't want to), I choose Sel'mak because he made Jacob softer, showed him a different perspective, and ultimately helped him mend his relationship with his daughter.

I’m nervous but yes, excited!! I am working on a new WIP called ‘Chaos Cross’ for Camp NaNo. It’s about a young man named Flynn who wakes up with a gap in his memories, but one surety: his love for his girlfriend, Cally. The problem? This new guy, Grey, also seems convinced that he’s in love with Cally. The bigger problem? She doesn’t remember either of them. The biggest problem? The apocalypse is happening around them, and none of them have any idea what’s going on. My goal for the month is 50k! Wish me luck!! *sends hugs and stupid advice I got from a friend once upon a time* When you're all tense and anxious, count in other languages. Any languages. Even if it's just Dora the Explorer uno, dos, tres... My brain will go from *omg panic* to *omfg how is it I count to quatre-vingt-seize (lit four twenties sixteen = 96) and higher in french no problem, but every time EVERY TIME I have to look up 18 in latin?? I have a classics degree!*

not stupid at all, this sounds like a great trick! and reminds me i desperately need to refresh my french lessons. i wonder if counting in asl would also help.

In my world, mortals trade with faeries, but the faeries find it entertaining to hide nasty surprises in their enchantments. My mortal OC is gifted at spotting and picking the nasty bits out of the fabric of an enchantment so the rest can be used safely. She acts kind but she secretly thinks the other mortals who come to her for help are idiots who'd be lost without her, until one of the enchantments she thought she'd cleaned up backfires on her and nearly kills her. BIG slice of Humble Pie!

Ohh Hal is totally like that. He’s the necromancer that taught Vespera, but he thinks necromancers that follow the necromancer’s code are idiots who aren’t weaving life to their full potential. It will probably back fire on him as well

Fake date:  Bryaxis because hey then it can stay fake amirite folks

Slow burn:  Bone Carver. Veryyyyyyyyyy slow burn. He’s old af. I can’t imagine he takes things very quickly, ya know?

Enemies to lovers:  AMREN. Because that is my favorite trope and Amren is the only one out of this bunch I would legit want to be in a ship with. Also she is a wonderful choice for that trope, like can you even IMAGINE.

I saw your posts about the storms last night, and I'm not sure where you're at, but I saw some pics of the aftermath down south - are you guys doing okay??

We’re all fine here, yes! The poor garden is covered with sticks and a small tree now, and the yard strewn over with debris, but apart from some power outages during the whole affair, the worst of it wound up missing our neighborhood.

( also, the neighborhood cats got through it just fine as well. they’re rather windblown but otherwise happy and whole, and the two inside boys, especially Chellers, were quite anxious last night but slept  through most of it with very little upset. Norrell put himself away in the closet for much of the event )
