Hahahaha. This was a ship I did not want or was not looking for. So I feel you. But it hits some of my trusty ‘yup, gonna ship that.’ Though I feel like the show is a multishipper’s delight. Anyway, yes, here for you. There isn’t a ton of fic, but I could use a writer shipmate to goad me to write more. :)

I get it, Michelle’s really very attractive. Sonequa’s attractive. I can understand shipping the prime version (I really don’t, because I like the maternal dynamic between them).

Kat Cornwell is RIGHT THERE and really hot and not her daughter. (Michael/Kat also works if you want the age gap) 

Sylvia Tilly is RIGHT THERE and really hot and not her mom. (Tilly/Georgiou also works if you want the power dynamic) 

The Emperor is her mother. You don’t just decide that hey, this version of your child is not your child, you could fuck them. You just don’t.

27. Best review you ever got?

This is a tough one. I absolutely love all of the reviews I get. Anytime a reader takes the time to leave one word or even a squeal I am tickled pink. In fact, it’s easier for me to pick out my least favorite reviews which are mostly the ones accusing me of “bashing snowing” but I don’t let negative reviews bother me anymore. In fact I mostly just laugh at them and shake it off. I do have to mention my good friend @rouhn‘s reviews beacause they are always thoughtful and sweet and she’s not afraid to tell me the truth. Her lovely reviews are what started our friendship!!! ❤️❤️❤️ 

If I had to pick the best review I’ve ever received, though, there is one in particular that comes to mind because it’s very recent and made me cry. It was a review I received on AO3 for my story ‘A Helping Hand’ that read, “I have so many things to say. First of all, I’m grateful for every single word you give us. A chapter could never be too short because you’re dedicating so much time and effort to giving us anything, and we are so so lucky for it. Second, this was too cute. AUs can be tough because you have to really understand the characters and it is SO OBVIOUS that you get Emma and Killian at their cores. I will never get tired of your stories. Third, I never read WIPs. I’m too scared of getting attached and never getting a conclusion. But for your work? The risk is always worth it. Thank you for every sentence posted. The fandom is a richer place because of you.” by @andnothinghurts. It’s always amazing to hear when people give your story a chance when there’s something about it they’re not usually into. And sometimes when I write I often wonder if I do the story justice or I ask myself is there something better I could do or something I should do less of, so this person saying that I’m doing something right was really uplifting!!! ❤️❤️❤️

42. Do you plan or do you write whatever comes to mind? 

I am normally a planner when writing my fics, but whether they are written as planned is a completely different story. ‘Tangled Up In Blue’ for example, I have everything all mapped out, it’s just that being able to write it all how I want is not always easy and there are always complications. On occasion I will change things that I had originally planned and write something that comes to mind in the moment. I did that for a while with ‘A Helping Hand’ because it was meant to be a one-shot and I kept adding on chapters as the ideas came to me. Now I have an outline and have many more chapters to come.

So, I saw a Monet painting in the Met back in December and have wanting to do this since. And then @sambethe​ said she’d like a CS sailing picture for her birthday and finally an excuse to do it! lol
