Pro tip! Ray Charles, the arranger and leader of the Ray Charles Singers, is NOT the guy you're probably picturing right now. This guy is still with us (at 95 years old) and way the hell less funky. This song seems to have dropped off the radar entirely, and I think we're the poorer for it.
Vurgon by Ario
Before I go on with the rambling of the piece, I must say it's an odd experience meeting someone who uses the same internet username as yourself. I usually go by Ario or Ario56 on other sites, so seeing a musical artist named Ario made me curious on his work.

Now, onto the rambling.
The piece starts out with a very... 'trippy' wave sound, setting a relaxing mood, before a different wave comes in with a simple and echoed melody. The next section used a different wave that fades in and out of left vs right, something I believe was done very well. The bass undertones also fit very well with how they were put in. When the drums start up the third section, the song almost sounds like it could be intended for various string instruments, like a harp and guitar duet. The main melody also sounds like it could be converted into a vocal part easily before the bass part takes over. The way the instruments are set up currently do sound fine enough, however. The instrument waves playing the different parts also changes a good amount of the time, keeping the song interesting until the end. Even the drums change occasionally. Near the end of the song, a synthesized harp-like instrument takes the song until the end, and it brings it to a nice calm ending. String-like instruments seem to be a thing Ario likes to use, to each his own, but he does it very well. I say this song is perfect for a wintery day with 6 inches of snow on the ground, which is what it's like over here on the east coast.
Anyway, that's all I have to say about this piece, hope you enjoy it more than my opinion.
