Reminds me of Lou Reed's "Satellite Of Love".  Always nice to have a song that can be followed up with another.  I rarely use the shuffle feature on my comp/phone, which means I actually scroll through my list.

It's hard to believe it's been almost two years since we last heard from David Como, aka Sing Leaf. The Toronto musician first came to my attention with a remix of Foxes in Fiction's 15 Ativan, and later when he helped curate a very special compilation called Generation Ship.

I'm very excited, because he's just sent me over this first track from an upcoming album, Watery Moon. Same Old Satellite is a softly dancing folkish tune. David's vocals are warm and inviting, and the production smooth and clean, creating a sort of whimsy around the track. And if Lou Reed taught us anything, it's that writing songs about satellites is a great idea.
