Here's some Avid x Scott x Pyro crumbs from the next chapter of Dissipating Fear, cause it's almost done but it's turned out so much longer than I thought it would (author notes at the end of the snippet)
“Bingo!” Scott shouted out.
“Oh, come on!” Sausage yelled as Avid groaned next to Scott.
Pyro looked at Avid from around Scott. “Aw, what’s wrong? Aren’t you glad Sire won?”
Avid pouted at the other fledgling. “Of course, but it doesn’t take off the sting of defeat. Don’t you feel similar? I mean, you were one away too.”
Pyro crossed his arms and leaned back, looking away. “I won’t deny the disappointment of loss so close to winning, but I wouldn’t make that Sire’s problem.”
Scott chuckled at the antics of his fledglings making the two focus back in on him. “As much as I prefer not having to deal with other people’s problems, I certainly wouldn’t say Avid’s earnest reactions are problems. I mean, isn’t he just so cute when he pouts like this? Wouldn’t you agree Pyro?”
He faced Pyro who stared back at him, bug eyed with as much of a flush to his cheeks as his body was currently able. Avid sported a matching blush but poked his head on Scott’s shoulder to grin at Pyro, excited to see how the other would respond.
“Avid? Cute???” Pyro flustered. “No, of course not. I’ve never thought that. Ever.” As he finished talking his eyes strayed from Scott to Avid, whose shit-eating grin widened.
“Oh, so now you’re gonna disagree with Scott?” Avid teased.
“What?” Pyro asked, confused. His voice turned into a whisper from his flustered confusion, “No?”
“Yes? No? What?” Pyro replied, unable to deal with his complicated feelings about Avid versus his need to please and agree with Scott.

Chapter 7's almost done, i just have to write the ending bit, but it's such a long chapter that I do want to let it sit for a couple of days so that I can edit for flow and stuff
But! there will be much yaoi, a hint of yuri, and many platonic interactions and maybe a bit of conflict (but probably not in the way you're expecting :D )
Honestly, I've been writing this chapter for dayssss now. My dearest mother (who is also my main beta reader) got me a bingo set for christmas as a joke and it actually came in so clutch for writing this chapter
I did some simulated bingo to make things more realistic by assigning each card to a different character who would be playing that round and by doing this it not only made the actual decission making easier but it also inspired a few interactions that wouldn't exist otherwise
Also, does anyone have a list of ship names for this fandom?
I want to be able to properly tag everything but even though I know most of the major two person pairing names, the multiship names (besides trustbites) elude me (bonus points if the list includes all versions of contested ship names)
Anyways, chapter should be out by the end of the week
