SAMFAs 2020

You guys. 

I don’t know what to say.  Thank you so much to everyone who voted for my fics in this year’s SAMFAs.

I was super excited to just find out some of my stuff had been nominated, and then to see my name on the award lists?

As I told @mizjoely yesterday, this was absolutely the highlight of my day.  Heck, let’s be honest it is probably the highlight of my month.

Again, thank you.

Sherlolly post-TFP recs

With the SAMFAS (Sherlock and Molly Fanfiction Awards) coming up, I wanted to put together a list of my personal favorite post-TFP stories (These stories can of course work for the post-TFP category of the SAMFAs as well as many of the other categories. Here’s a link to info on the SAMFAs). My list of fics that are eligible for  the 2017 SAMFAs

So, the SAMFAs are coming up and it has been suggested that one should perhaps make a list of all their eligible Sherlolly fics in case someone is looking for some stuff to nominate.

Coincidentally, I have some fics that were written during the specified time period. AND, as a side benefit, if you are not interested in nominating fic but are looking for some more junk to read . . . My list will also be able to provide that!

From January 2017:

Impulses - Originally written in response to the large amount of anti-Sherlolly wank found in the Sherlolly tag on Tumblr. I bring you some Sherlock wank . . . literally. Fair warning, this is a tie-in to my fic ‘A Vicious Motivator’. You probably do not need to read that one to get the gist of this one–mostly because this one is pretty much just an excuse for smut–but it does make several references to events that happen in the other story if you get confused.

Take a Chance - Sherlock considers John's advice. A quick one shot set near the end of The Lying Detective (S4 E2) so a bit spoilery for that episode.

From February 2017:

The Mayfair Murderer - A short fic for Molly Hooper Appreciation Week Part Deux -Day Two : ____ At First Sight (Fanworks focusing on first meetings). Regency (?) AU version of Sherlock and Molly's first meeting.

Please Believe Me When I Say I Love You - A short fic for Molly Hooper Appreciation Week Part Deux - Day 3 - Valentine's Day/Galentine's Day/Single's Awareness Day (Fanworks focusing on one of the holidays celebrated February 14th) References Series 4 and TFP.

It Can’t Happen Again - A short fic for Molly Hooper Appreciation Week Part Deux - Day 4 - Feels Like ____ (Fanworks focusing on feelings) The day that Sherlock and Molly solved some crimes.  **This one may not count as it’s pre-Sherlolly, and her day with Sherlock is the beginning of the end for Molly’s engagement**

A Thin Line  - A short fic for Molly Hooper Appreciation Week Part Deux - Day 6 - ... Forever (Fanworks focusing on relationships, either long or short term, of any variety) A look at how Molly's relationship with her abusive mother effects her adult life. TW: domestic abuse.  **Not going to lie, I’m very proud of this one**

From March 2017:

Are You ready? – It’s been six months since the phone call. Molly and Sherlock have been taking things slow.  Perhaps too slow.  Another wank!lock fic, because I love those.

From April 2017: 

Not What He Had Hoped For - Sherlock visits Molly right after the events at Sherinnford. Will she welcome him with open arms or will she slam the door in his face?

From May 2017:

He Took Her Breath Away - A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 - Day One (Non-Canon - First Meeting). The first time she saw him, he took her breath away. Literally.

The First Date – A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 – Day Two (Non-Canon – First Date).  The difference between a first date and The First Date.

Merry Christmas, Molly Hooper - A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 - Day Three (Canon Compliant - Season 2 / Non-Canon - First Kiss). The first time Sherlock kissed Molly, set during the infamous Christmas party in ASiB. (Pre-Sherlolly)  **Another one that may not count.  Sherlock has feelings for Molly that he’s not quite ready to deal with**

Who’s Been Sleeping in My Bed - A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 - Day Four (Non-Canon - First Sleepover/Sleep Together). The many times Sherlock has sought the comfort of Molly Hooper's bed. (I would rate it a "Hard T" for a brief mention of wanking, sorry)

Another Letter to Mary - A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 - Day Five (Canon Compliant – The Abominable Bride). A sequel of sorts to last year's Sherlolly Appreciation Week fic "A Letter to Mary". Pre-Sherlolly versions of Hooper/Holmes.

Hi. - A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 - Day Six(Canon Compliant – Season 4). Sherlock said he deletes every text that starts with 'Hi'. Molly wonders if he's fibbing.

Shezza’s Missus - A short fic for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2017 - Day Seven (Non-Canon - Free Choice). Molly has a very interesting talk with Bill Wiggins.

From June 2017:

Plus One - Molly does a favour for Mycroft, and Sherlock gets it wrong. (Prompt: Mollcroft fake relationship with jealous Sherlock)

From July 2017:

Boyfriend Material - Sherlock has made it quite clear that he’s not boyfriend material, but that was before Molly needed to find a tactful way to avoid the attentions of a persistent admirer. Perhaps it’s just a matter of semantics. (In progress)

From September 2017:

I’m Not Saying a Word - A short fic for Molly Hooper Appreciation Week (Summer 2017) - Day 5 - The Wrong Trouser Of Time (Fanworks focusing on canon divergence) What if Sherlock decided not to keep his observations to himself when he finally met Tom in “The Empty Hearse”?

And I’ll See It Through - A short fic for Molly Hooper Appreciation Week (Summer 2017) - Day 6 - Music Lifts My Soul (Fanworks incorporating music) The night before The Fall, Sherlock asks a lot of Molly. Perhaps too much.
