My friend and I are looking for a team. Do you have any slots open?

I am not sure how our team is looking at the moment. I know for certain we have three people dropping, but also have a few that have been waiting to join up with us. I plan on getting the numbers together after I'm done with college (18 days til graduation!) and then I'll make a post letting everyone know what we've got open, who the current members are, and see who is a good fit!There's a GISHWHES Network on fb with a list of teams and a contact list for the captains, and there might be some in the 'GISHWHES recruitment' or 'GISHWHES recruiting' tag. The Twist and Shout Fanfiction is by far my favorite, but I only read it once, and I can't bring myself to do it again because it just broke my heart into so many pieces. But I keep the link on the off chance I get the courage to deal with the crying again.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've read it twice. And that heartbreak is still there. I've been meaning to read it again but it's kinda like, a preparation. I need blankets, some cute plushie toys, a beverage, A BOX OF TISSUES...

I hold this story very near and dear. Twist and Shout was my first destiel fic. I think it might have been my first SPN fanfic. It was my push into the fandom. I remember I thought,

"This beautiful story was written by fans. People like me. What else can fans create?"

The answer: anything and everything.

I always see beautiful art, writing, edits, music, cosplay, etc. People's creativity really flourishes in this fandom. And maybe one day, I'll find my medium.

And of course, the people I've met. They have become my friends. I have a stronger support system. I feel a sense of care, and love... and it really warms my heart.

tl;dr: It's my favorite story too.
