Hehe... Hyungsik continuing the tradition of playing a royal crown prince/king and cornering the female lead and then later trying to forcefully silence her 🤣🤣🤣
But of course in Hwarang, Jidwi didn't exactly use his hand to silence Aro 8D

2nd lead ...
Normally, I don’t do this. I like to keep my thoughts to myself. I guess times like this come to everyone once, it seems to be my turn now. I have to write about what I think. I’m annoyed by great 2nd lead characters.
Don’t get me wrong I love great characters in any kind of story and I like the concept of a 2nd lead, but why do so many (love) dramas need to have great 2nd leads. When are we gonna get a 2nd lead that we actually dislike and that makes us happy for the one main character to have chosen the other main character?
Where does my train of thought come from? Well, Hwarang...
I know Sammaekjong (Kim Ji-dwi) is weird at times, rude, possessive, doesn’t know much about women and treats them wrong. I know he needs to grow a lot mentally to deserve any woman at all. (BTW It’s not like he was taught to be any better by anyone in the past.) But hey, I can see it coming. He will evolve, he will become a great king and human being and he will deserve the best there is, but in the end he will still not get the girl. And that is breaking my heart.
I will never be able to fully appreciate his development or the happiness between the two main leads. And it’s not because I don’t like the main lead (I actually do a lot, Moo-myung and Ah-ro would be a great couple out of a interesting story), I simply like the kings character more (it has more potential).
I see it happening the same way it did in Love in the moonlight. They give us a main lead you simply cannot not love, but at the same time they build up this great 2nd lead character one must adore and then either kill him off or disappoint him at the end. I know it cannot end well and yet I can’t stop watching. Why do I do this to myself? I know I cannot be alone with this...
Sun Woo x Sammaekjong / Ji Dwi HEADCANON
Sun Woo in the room waiting for Ah Ro to come in and teach him but she couldn't make it, and Ji Dwi walks in and decides to teach him instead. Sun Woo begrudgingly agrees and lets him hold his hands and lean in closer. They end up arguing / chatting with each other while trying to hold in laughter when the other does or says something funny.
