Curiosity killed the cat...but Gabriel Reyes satisfaction brought it back. Oh baby, did it ever.

Its like 4am but my playlist came on to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak and I can't help but think of it as a reaper or s76 song about a SO they haven't make a move about because a fear of rejection and because they're sad and bitter. So they're gonna pine indefinitely.
Oooh! I only knew about the version by HIM so far and this one is so much calmer and nicer, I love it.But hell yeah I can see it, especially for Jack. Like, Gabriel would probably come out with the truth in a fit of rage at some point “How dare you make me fall in love with you!”But Jack, oh he would keep it all bottled in and never say a word. He doesn’t believe he deserves love after everything that happens. He thinks he’s going to die sooner rather than later, bitter, old and forgotten by the world he fights for. Guys like him don’t get a happy ending so why say anything and cause more heartbreak? They’ll never love him back, not this shell of a man with nothing to live for, but god he can’t help looking at them, and imagining what if

Idris, how do you feel about the grand game?
[Idris can’t currently answer, he’s busy setting fire to Halamshiral.]
Cathair, Describe your perfect day, or as close as you think you can get to one?
“We should start with a single day of no one trying to pronounce my name as ‘Cat Hair’.
Actual food to eat, actual clothes to wear. Some music and a good drink.
I’m a simple man.”
Ceallach how do you feel about the Exalted Marches?
“It’s difficult, trying to have an opinion on something so long ago. I want to say the first was a good thing, but even that isn’t clear. We don’t really know how it went. Regardless of the original intentions, as soon as the myth is gone, it’s just power. Just a tool some people use to hurt others. No deity gave the Chantry the authority to slaughter the Dalish. They just took it and called it right and that was that.
Something like that can’t be right.
I don’t want to lead because someone told me to. I want to really know I’m doing the right thing. That’s why I ask for the opinion of the people around me, not some absentee spiritual father figure.”
