i had a huge essay the other day and the only way i could get through it was to listen to Bendy background music.

I had to read almost a full book and i managed to do it with the power of Sammy Jam, Thinking of you, and Left me in a Heartbeat.

over and over and over again. And i got through the book in like,,,, 4 or 5 hours. managed to write the essay in 1 or 2.

Soooo I got a little bored last night and my new otp was calling to me. And just because I felt like it needed something extra, I wrote a little impromptu one-shot (which is obviously in the read more) to give these doodles a bit more depth. Because who doesn't like depth? And who knows, I might feel like turning it into a full fic later ooohhh.

When the cab finally stopped she payed the driver and stepped out, straightening her back proudly. The stance was short-lived; she soon slumped back into a dejected shuffle. She didn't plan on going home tonight. At least, not yet. Making a slow beeline across the cul-de-sac she came to a stop at the door of her best friend. She raised a limp hand and rang the doorbell, drawing in a deep breath through her mouth when she saw lights being turned on inside. At last, the door opened. Standing before her, half naked and dishevelled, was Jimmy. They stood like that, Jimmy quirking an expectant eyebrow and Sarah staring morosely at his torso, until it became apparent to Jimmy that he was going to have to break the silence himself.

"Do you have any idea what time it is?" He asked, his voice cracking slightly from sleep. There was silence for a moment longer. 

"Let's have sex." Jimmy tutted sympathetically. 

"Bad breakup?" Sarah's chin wobbled dangerously. 

"Yes."He sighed and held back a very tempting 'I told you this would happen', instead opening the door further and stepping aside.

"Come inside, doll. But no sex." With a small "Okay" Sarah stepped over the threshold and made her way automatically to the kitchen. Jimmy watched her until she disappeared before sighing again and closing the door.

"You know if you just stuck with me, you silly goose, you wouldn't have to go through all this heartbreak." He muttered under his breath as he went after her, already weighing up whether a milkshake or tea would be better for the situation. Alcohol was definitely ruled out, that was for sure. First off though, he crossed the kitchen and enveloped the now shaking Sarah into a warm hug. He closed his eyes and pressed his lips to her hair, breathing in the sweet scent of her shampoo.
