sammy had been working on dinner for the last couple of hours, wanting her night to be perfect with alex. she didn’t normally meet guys this nice and normal and she was trying not to think he was too good to be true. she put their food on plates right as she heard their special knock and she opened the door in her apron, a wide smile crossing her face as she looked at him. “hey, you.” she said, pulling him into a tight hug before letting him in and closing the door behind him. “wine. let me get you some wine and you can tell me about your day.” she said, rushing back into the kitchen to pour some wine.
