Tenebrae means darkness in Latin. The word is used to describe a special kind of service in the catholic tradition which focuses intensely on repentance for sins. The Latin liturgical texts which I set in the piece are also deelpy root in penitential sentiments, which is why I use this title. Samn Johnson - Ockeghem
Under spectral yellows of desert and desert dunes, caught, is "Ockeghem". "Ockeghem" is one of 7 composing Samn Johnson's first full-length, Variations.
The desert collapsed upon them, in an avalanche of miniature sands. Dust crusted their outsides and entered in. Soar in the way each knuckle ached and vein seemed too full. Dune and dune again, an ungodly pilgrimage of desert and demonic yellowed falls.
