"Honestly, who decides what is proper? and what makes something proper?" Alice thought the whole idea was absolutely ridiculous. Though the more she thought about it, the more she thought about a group of people all sitting around a table.
The people would be the people who decided what was proper, all sitting around and voting on different little things. Some serious things like how to behave around others, while other silly like what one should wear, or what was the proper way to drink tea.
Though as she sat there in the carriage, she couldn't help but think about the thought more, them deciding that wearing a fish on one's head would be the proper, just as a joke to see if they could get all of London to do it. Why it would be quite hysterical, though if not a bit odd.

Maybe she was in a better place now. Cassie liked to think she was.
She isn’t sure how to have a handle on these powers. But she’s working on it.It’s even harder worker with a team of people she’s just met. She gets along with most of them. Minus Faye. Kind of.

Obsession. She always kept it away from Ric, he assumed that it was research but it was far from that. Creatures who had the power to far outlast immortal life. Vampires. Creatures who transformed under the light of the moon. Werewolves.
But it was vampires that caught her eye. Vampires were all she knew, it was what sucked her life. Literally.
She had big plans for herself and while it may have been selfish to leave behind the life she lead, she had found that some part of her life something was missing.
The cure: vampirism.
If there's one thing she knows she might regret it's leaving him all by himself. She doesn't want to make the beginnings of a distance in their relationship. After all, she was in love with Alaric Saltzman. They were happy.
One day he'd resent her, he'd resent the choices that she made. Maybe he'd hate that she left him all alone. Would he regret marrying her?
