Introduction

 Hello and welcome to the Dev Blog for the upcoming video game sampleGame. Though it is still in the very early stages of development, the game is slowly but surely coming along nicely.

 sampleGame is about you, the player. You find yourself in an odd and confusing world that manages to feel somewhat familiar. Through exploration and ingenuity, not only can you find out more about this weird world, you can find out more about yourself.

 I don’t necessarily want to go too far into features yet considering none of the standout features are anywhere near finished. As everyone who’s made a game knows, anything can happen this early in development.

 If there’s a breakthrough, any new major updates or just something really cool I’d like to share with you guys, you can view it all here. In the coming day or so I have a small treat I plan to toss out so you guys have at least a smidge of an idea as to what to expect from sampleGame, so check back later for some nice slice of goodness.

 Though as good as development is going, there is a small issue that needs attending to; I’m in desperate need of awesome artists and slick animators. The nature of the game allows for different people from different artistic backgrounds to collaborate on different parts of the game world. So if you happen to be super skilled in the arts of 3dsMax, Maya, Unreal’s Matinee and/or Mudbox, please feel free to drop me a line. I’m also in need of another programmer or two. By myself, making these mechanics work isn’t an easy trick but with an extra brain or two, the game could end up with features I haven’t even considered. If you’re interested in the programming portion and happen to be really good with Java Script, C++ and/or C# again, don’t hesitate to shoot me an email (Provided at the bottom of the introduction).

 All of that mess aside, I really hope you guys stick around and are excited to see what’s to come! The kickstarter mentioned in the description will start once there is enough content to show off to potential backers and convince the public that this game is gonna be absolutely kick-ass.
