There is nothing in this world that I could agree with more. The world needs love. Love doesn't mean forgiveness. Love means acceptance and understanding. Love means using words instead of fists. Or knives. Or guns. Love means building each other up. Helping each other through hard times. Love means showing someone that even though you may not agree with their opinion, you value it because it is an essential part of who they are. Love is a genuine outpouring of care. Love is showing someone that although what they did is wrong, and you can't accept their actions, you still accept their person. Love means showing them that their actions are wrong, explaining why they are wrong, preventing it from happening again. Love means showing them that you still accept them. Love is saying "I love you" more than just when expressing changes that need to be made. It's saying those three simple words with all of the meaning they should have. It's showing those three words. Love isn't trust. It isn't blindly allowing someone to walk over you. It's developing a mutual respect from person to person to person. Love is the whole world uniting under one goal: to destroy prejudice. Prejudice against age, prejudice against gender, prejudice against sexuality, prejudice against race, prejudice against religion. Love is showing that differences are what make us human. What make us stronger. What the world needs now is love.
