I really want to draw my top Smash newcomer options to celebrate the direct tomorrow (specifically to manifest a new Smash being announced and any of them especially Robert, Leaves and Wake (from most wanted to third most wanted) being in it but in fairness I would love a new F-Zero, Wave Race, Mach Rider, Excite anything or 1080. I mean there’s no one on my wishlist from Excite or 1080 but still ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR LOST RACING GAMES NINTENDO <- literally the one person who would be disappointed if “the Excitebiker” was chosen over the Mach Rider. I put “the Excitebiker” in quotation marks bc there are named characters and unlike F-Zero, Wave Race and 1080 there doesn’t seem to be a clear main character) but I just got home like half an hour ago and I’m at uni all day tomorrow so I don’t have time plus yesterday’s episode of Mock the Week is on YouTube and Tom Scott has probably uploaded his next video too so I’m just gonna drop pictures of my wishlist below in no particular order (Dr. Stewart, Anthony Higgs, Ayumi Stewart, Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, the Mach Rider, Eevee, Celeste, the Ring Fit Trainee, the Sportsmate, Raven Beak, Brunhilda, Midgardsormr, Apollomon, Dianamon, Pico and Samurai Goroh)

Satoru Iwata was a truly one-of-a-kind man. A gamer, a businessman, and a man of true talent. It's sad to know that he passed away 10 years ago today, but his legacy remains strong and true every single day. I'm really going to miss you.
I apologize that not every character from the poll from earlier couldn't make it into the art, as it was a big matter of time constraints. But I tried my hardest regardless.
For outfit context:
Link is wearing his Skyward Sword tunic, as Skyward Sword was the last 3D Zelda game that was released during Iwata's lifetime.
Zelda is wearing her Twilight Princess mourning robe, as Iwata was a key figure in the game's refinement and the Wii version's use of motion controls.
Fox and Falco are wearing black flight suits as a reference to Star Fox Zero, specifically the game's credits, which contains the quote: "This game is dedicated to our wingman who fell in battle.", as Iwata passed away while the game was still in development.
Samurai Goroh is wearing an undershirt that reflects upon his Fire Stingray.
