Today, we remember Satoru Iwata once again. Already it's been 11 years.
A man of talent, a voice of reason, a strong innovator, and an advocate of fun and passion for gamers all over the world.
For this year, I drew Celebi, and there's a good reason for this: he designed a compression algorithm which simplified the design handling for Pokémon Gold & Silver, also enabling Pokémon events as a result.
Celebi was unfortunately uncatchable in the West due to technical reasons and time constraints, which led to the inability of the devs to distribute said events there.
Regardless, thank you, Mr. Iwata. I hope that out there, you are still flying high. 🥹

Earlier today I was asleep with audio from one of gymnast86's Twilight Princess 100% speedruns playing, and I had a dream where I was listening to the Shadow Temple music for the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake.
But... turns out that, in reality, I was listening to the music for the Gerudo Desert.
