Okay, potentially stupid question, and if there's something I don't know that makes it such, I apologize in advance. Why not move out? Get out, find a roommate, or if you can manage it, get a little bitty studio apt and make it YOUR space.

No job, no money, no skills. The only option would be to move into a special care home. I tried that in 2007, 6 months of indignity.  And 3 months of working in a sheltered workshop.
