Wen - Sand Bending Stance
https://www.deviantart.com/nargyle/art/ATLA-Toph-177750814
So quick legend of Korra/atla question. If Bolin learned sandbending could he technically bend glass? Like they heat sand to make glass and he already can bend heated earth (lavabending) so would he be able to invent glassbending like Toph invented metalbending?
Ok, but what if Bolin were a sandbender?
I honestly don't know if any earthbender can sandbend... but anyway-
I'm also thinking about changing my art style again, not sure if I'll stick with this one or try something else.
I'll also be posting some sketches! I think I accidentally came up with an AU so I'll be sharing stuff about that whenever I can :D
remember how Toph almost fell off the airship in the finale? In the comics, she figures out how to jump from the air and create a slide from the earth below to safely get down 🥺 my girl Toph always improving and showing growth!! It reminds me of how she hated sand and felt really bad about losing Appa in the si wong desert and so she worked on her sandbending so by the time the gaang was chillin' on ember island, she could recreate Ba Sing Se in the sand 🥺🥺🥺
A moment of appreciation for not only the fact that Toph invented metal bending, but also how quickly she /developed/ the skill, AS WELL AS perfecting sandbending. She was just out there doing it all.
