I'm obsessed with the knowledge that the Inquisitorius ceased to exist before the Battle of Yavin. They didn't even make it up to the point of the rebellion heating up. Absolute failure of an institution. Waste of taxpayer money.

I mean theoretically they are a cool plot device because you can get mini lightsaber battle scenes, but in praxis that very thing makes them look like such losers, because of course they can't be successful when up against plot-protected Jedi. So they only get to 'win' against largely irrelevant characters.

I'm imagining one last surviving inquisitor shivering all alone in their fortress lunch cantina like a neurotic chihuahua.

Either that, or Vader just gave up one day and dropped the lot of them into lava.
