so there's this ship you might've heard of. called sandbyn. idk it's pretty niche. do you have any headcanons for this ship that you've never seen before ever? /SILLY

✩ Sandbyn headcanons! ✩

⟢ ‎ ‎ NO CRIMES / NEVER CAUGHT AU

⟡ before they started dating, Sandbag kept buying a bunch of flowers and succulents that he didn’t actually care about from Cobyn’s shop just to have an excuse to keep talking to them

⟡ Sandbag moves into Cobyn’s cottage with him after they start getting serious with their relationship

⟡ they both love the idea of setting down and having kids of their own one day, but they don’t want to rush things

⟡ they always fall asleep cuddling, and no matter how much they roll around during the night, they still somehow always wake up cuddling again. they’re like magnets

⟡ Sandbag’s favourite position to sleep in is with his head on the side of Cobyn’s chest

⟢ ‎ ‎ it tends to drool when it sleeps, though, so all of Cobyn’s pyjamas now have a permanent stain in that one particular spot

⟡ Cobyn usually wakes up before Sandbag, to which Sandbag will either sleepily pull him back down or get up in a few minutes after mourning his warmth. they’ll usually have breakfast together, then Cobyn will leave for work while Sandbag goes on a morning jog

⟡ they treat their dates pretty causally, neither of them are much for extravagant dinners or restaurants. usually they end up hanging out in Cobyn’s garden, going to the aquarium, or just staying home and chatting over a home-cooked dinner

⟢ ‎ ‎ Cobyn helps Sandbag tackle his fear of the glass in the aquarium by rubbing it’s arm and holding it’s hand as it steps a bit further each time they go there, slowly getting closer to it until he can stand close to the glass without freaking out

⟡ one of Cobyn’s favourite things to do is to to hold Sandbag’s face in their hands and admire how beautiful he is. Sandbag really doesn’t understand his fascination with it and it makes him really flustered

⟡ Sailor plays wingman for them all the time, even though Sandbag has specifically told him not to get himself involved

⟡ autism on autism communication. they take turns talking about their respective special interests, Cobyn will infodump to Sandbag about gardening, and Sandbag will infodump about sharks. they’re basically having two entirely different conversations at the same time, but they enjoy it! Poppy calls it their enrichment time

⟡ even though Sandbag knows (but refuses to admit) that Cobyn is actually a tad stronger than it, Sandbag is still really nervous about accidentally hurting Cobyn

⟡ at the beginning of their relationship, Sandbag was very nervous about physical touch. not because he didn’t want it, but for the previous reason + not being used to it and feeling a little awkward. Cobyn was always so patient with it though, and once eventually Sandbag would come to get more comfortable with it and becomes the biggest clinger to ever cling

⟡ they’re both so touch starved that they’re absolutely all over each other. in private, that is — neither of them are the biggest fan of PDA. the most they’ll do in public is hold hands and maybe the occasional hug

⟡ Cobyn loves Sandbag’s arms and back and Sandbag is enamoured by Cobyn’s smile

⟡ they’re overall just sickeningly sweet and will not shut up about each other

⟢ ‎ ‎ Poppy, Elise and Sailor all tease the ever-loving HELL out of them for this
