so this has been simmering on the back burner of my brain for years at this point but. how did prompto get recruited to be bb!noct’s friend in sunshine and madness?
i kinda want to go with the funniest scenario of oriens or cor showing up and saying hi you’ve been called into service. what service? the prince needs a best friend what are you asking questions for giddyup
AHAH so- honestly you're not far off. They basically do recruit Prompto though with just a touch (and we're talking barely a touch) more subtlety here.
Basically they let Noctis go back to school and tap Prompto to 'help the Prince settle back in'. They really don't have to do much more than that with those two. Bitty Ignis ends up a little sulky over this mind you.
