14.06.21 Aaron bluntly tells Sandra Liv has epilepsy and is a alcoholic. Liv is defensive and refuses to come home with Aaron. Aaron is frustrated, Sandra realizes she's out of her depth and Aaron orders Tyson to get lost as the arguments continue as Aaron drops Liv's medication on the table.

So Liv is with her mom and Sandra doesn't think to pick up the phone and check in with Aaron about Liv?

Granted I haven't been watching, just saw some light yt stuff and tumblr posts.

I mean I don't know if Sandra knows that Liv ran away.

But if your estranged daughter shows up on your doorstep out of the blue. And seems to be in a messed up place mentally and emotionally. It might do with a call to the people she lives with at least to know what's going on. Cause I doubt that Liv would tell Sandra the whole story.

Also Sandra knows how close Aaron and Liv are and how overprotective Aaron is as a big brother. Plus knowing how Aaron is, knows that he will go overboard with worry, Sandra could just let Aaron know that Liv is alive and safe. Even if Sandra thinks that Aaron knows, Liv is clearly messed up. Talking to the person she lives with might give some insight and actually help her daughter. Be the mother that Liv deserves for once.

A simple phone call, that's all it would take.

“So, what did you want to talk about?”

Liv paused for a moment. She had been thinking about how to come out to her mum for weeks but now that she was actually here, she was drawing a blank.

“Well… Since I’ve been living in Emmerdale, I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve grown as a person and changed—well, not changed— I suppose I just wanted to tell you...I’m asexual, mum,” Liv disclosed, quietly.

Sandra stared intently at Liv before scoffing.

“You’re a what?”

Liv drew in a steady breath, steeling herself against anything that might come.

Sandra’s one to talk. When Liv was living with her, she cut school, smoked, and mugged strangers in the park.

Why would they have to fight too keep her?

Because I think that when her alcoholism comes to light it’ll be because something big happens, that puts her in danger. I figure they’ll help her through that and in the midst of it, Sandra is going to want to take her back with her because I mean tbf why wouldn’t she? That is her daughter. 

And the main reason the show used to keep Liv with Aaron (and Rob) was because Sandra was incapable of taking care of her but from the sounds of the preview Sandra got herself together so....

I’ve always just thought that they will have a threat of having Liv taken away.
