MY THING IS OUT!!!!!!

Today marks the four year anniversary of The Isolated's creation, so I thought I should make an animatic to celebrate!! I started working on this in December last year, but you know, I started to lack the motivation to work on it until recently. So now it's here and here it is. I'm really proud of this and I hope y'all like it too!!

Wanted to go for a more light hearted drawing this year, which I think I deserved tbh. No one is suffering for once!!!! Yippeeee!!!! Just the peeps doing some casual pumpkin carving! I might do a spooky post later because of course but for now I thought this would be fun to make. Hope y'all stay safe and don't forget to be spooky!!!!

Warning for blood and bright colors

So I went to see Nosferatu on Wednesday and it was an experience. During the previews I saw the 28 years later trailer and oh my god it goes so hard. Yesterday I saw a Shin Godzilla edit using the audio and I decided to make my own animation with my funny monster story characters and. Y'all. You have NO idea how proud I am of this. I think I honestly really cooked with this. There are some frames that I'm not exactly proud of but there are others where I am so I think that's good enough. Please give this a watch, I think you'll like it just as much as I do !!

Here's my funny monster story characters based off of a poster for The Eternaut !!!! I somehow like this? Like it looks cool but I think I could still use some work on my shading because it's a bit too cleanish for my liking but I still like it. That's pretty much it. I'm older now (explodes)

Doodle dump. The first two were done during band practice. I'm going to band camp tomorrow so I won't be back until Sunday

Okay finally they fixed the images thing. Sorry about that. Anyways

1: Wolfgang and Otto in normal everyday attire. I think Wolf wouldn't wear formal stuff. When he has to he will, but it won't be super neat lol

3: The funny trio hanging out. Sandra is third wheeling but she doesn't mind it lol

4: Fred based off of an image of Keith Jennings from The Omen (1976). I made it canon that whenever Frederick gets super flustered, he pushes his head into his hair. He's already my favorite character from the story and this made me love him even more

5: Another Fred based off of an image of Mike Nelson from an episode of MST3K (not sure which one though)

6: Wolfgang based off of a still from the movie The Seagull (1968). I found the picture last night and I thought it had his vibes

Procreate is so much fun y'all have no idea (the shading might be scuffed but shhhhh I'm still figuring it out and I should probably do that before artfight starts RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH sorry what)

Anyways here are the three main characters of The Isolated!! They make me happy and it's criminal that I don't make more art of them. They should have a fun trio group name now that I'm thinking about it, I think they'd be a somewhat popular little singing group

For one day, I will make Linwood happy. Because it's his birthday today!!!

I feel so bad for the pain I subject him to, but it's for the plot I swear. He is probably one of the saddest characters I've written but I'm so proud with his improvement

Also take a bonus Derik kicking sand into Laura's face. She deserves it, don't feel bad for her

The refs are here!!!!! Here are the main characters of my horror story The Isolated!!

Out of all of the characters to have trauma, Sandra is the most trauma-free. She does have her dad to worry about on those nightly hunts, but even though she knows he'll be fine, there's still that twinge of worry

Also everyone start throwing your tomatoes at Laura she's a bastard boooooooooooo BOOOOOOOOO WE HATE YOU LAURA BOOOOOOOOO

All the other characters have a playlist (Laura kind of has a playlist but there's only like three songs in there) besides Sandra, and I definitely want to start making her a playlist. California Dreamin will definitely be the first song to go on there. She, Derik, and Frederick make me really happy and I should make art of them sometime soon (probably tomorrow or some time before next Monday because I got band camp eweeeeeee)
