This cute little guy is a common ringed plover  (Charadrius hiaticula)! It’s the favourite animal of my friend and I regret not looking him up earlier because he’s so small and cute and I’m in love now. His german name is Sandregenpfeifer, which roughly translates to sand-rain-whistler, which is also cute. What can I say.... he’s cute
