Journo: We heard quite some advantages for women’s ski jumping, what do you think?

Cene: I’m not quite comfortable drawing the right conclusions from this yet. Firstly, just this Two Nights Tour, that it would get drawn out to a full tour, it’s not 100% sure yet, considering how the preparations for the lightning in Innsbruck are going. And honestly – well, in Garmisch, everything worked out pretty well, the women’s comp was well attended because everything was happening together. But in some other places, everything ends up looking like the women are something extra/additional/on the side of the main event (men’s comp). And I gotta say, I quite miss it, when they used to have the Silvester Tour, where the women were the queens of the whole event. And sometimes I do ask, why we should push both things together – absolutely it is easier for the organisation to carry out two things at the same time, financially they come out better – but for the jumping itself, you get less time on the TV and the women’s comps themselves are not in the foreground everytime.
