Ninjago AU where Morro didn’t die (and is the ninjas age maybe a few years older).
Everything is the same until Wu leaves to get Garmadon in season 1.
Morro was traveling, trying to find things about Wojira when he returns home only for the Monastery to be burnt down.
He knows about the ninja, Wu writes him often, but Wu forgot to mention that their home burnt down. Morro goes to find the ninja and does find them just after Wu and Garmadon get back.
With the tense atmosphere on deck and Morro, a stranger, arriving, Morro gets attacked. Probably by Kai. Kai obviously loses. The rest of the team try to help Kai before Wu steps in.
„Welcome back, Morro.“
„Hi, Baba.“
Cue the ninja absolutely losing it. What do you mean Sensei has a kid?! Since when?
Then Garmadon walks out.
„Huh. You got bigger.“
„And you got uglier.“
Morro has no fear. He’s not afraid of Garmadon. Why would he? The man was a doting uncle until the venom fully took over.
Morro sticks around afterwards. Morro is pissed when he finds out his baby cousin, who he hasn’t seen in years cause everyone refused to tell him where he is, was kidnapped. Lloyd gets to meet his cool older cousin he didn’t know about. Morro and Kai are tied for coolest person ever.
Nya finds out about her powers sooner because the second Morro looks at her he knows that’s the master of water and thinks it’s a known fact for everyone. She just prefers being a Samurai over a ninja. Nothing wrong with that.
It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t shoehorn in Cole x Morro. Cole falls first, Morro falls harder. Also Lou trying to set up Cole and Morro when he first meets Morro.
