I am trying to get into more abstract portrait painting (really hard right now to carve some time out of the day for it), and am also integrating Rebelle more into my workflow, so I combined them both for these two studies - above the originals by Sandy Kossin and Richard Burlet respectively, below my quick studies. I took about an hour for each, which wasn't enough time to get into the fine details, as I still need to figure out if the general idea is for me, or if I should stick with more realism instead.
