There’s a noticeably loud CRUNCH as Jun bites down on the apple in his hand, fangs sinking into the fruit with ease as he munches away, dark eyes trained on the other person before him. He’s heard of this guy before, only vaguely. Something about a QUIRK that would be more suited to a Villain than any Hero, but Jun doesn’t quite understand the fuss. 

From what he could see, he didn’t look so bad at all. 

         “What’s your deal, huh? Too powerful for your own good or somethin’?”

Vincent sighs and rubs his temple, he’d try one more time. After that, whoever this guy is, if he wants to lap up toxic blood off the floor like a dog after peanut butter it wasn’t the witch’s problem. 

“It’s not about you getting sick, it’s that that barely qualifies as blood. It’s a mass of toxins and paralytic poison. That thing I killed doesn’t have a conventional body. It technically doesn’t have a brain. It’s like a fungus, if a fungus was a hivemind beast.”

Said thing was mostly in jars now. To be studied later, the floor caked in ‘blood’ was all that was really left of it. Besides it’s broken horn in the nearby wall.

“About the same speed as a human, but… I have a bad feeling about this idea of yours. Could you at least tell me what it is? I’d rather not go into this blind.” She huffs, looking him up and down with a raised eyebrow “If you don’t mind me asking, what even are you? You look entirely human but that’s definitely not something a human would say.”

“I’m only twenty-one. I mean compared to other vampires and half vampires I’m extraordinarily young but I see that as I’m much further from natural death than they are.” He shrugs at her comment about his kind, looking to the side before looking back to her “How old are you that you say that though?”

Meeting Under Stars

Echo preferred the night honestly, it was less harsh against his skin and less painful for his eyes. The cool, gentle darkness served well to keep him from getting the migraines he used to get when he was infected. He should not have had as much trouble with daylight as he did but he supposed his body had just gotten used to a nocturnal cycle after so many years.

At least at night he was more comfortable and more confident in his own ability to care for himself. Enough so that he was just sitting on a bench in the park by himself. He was knitting while listening to the softer sounds of the night around him. He felt calm for once and even a little happy, this new world had done some good for him after...after everything else. He was so relaxed he did not do much more than vaguely tilt his head curiously in the direction that he heard someone else coming from.

“Hmm..” Ivory contemplated her answer for a moment, “ I’d say I’m rather good at keeping secrets.” She hasn’t spilled anyone’s so far.

“Singing?” Alex bit his lip, “ I’m average I guess?” He rubs the back of his neck, “ I mean I know I sing off key with some songs but others I’m pretty good at. So yeah I’m average when it comes to singing”  Average was good right?
