His musings were indeed food for thought and rather a valid way of thinking. Since who knows what might happen in the future and how they will change in the next 10 years. You can be best friend with a classmate today and in near future, you might stop speaking completely…but then again that depends on individuals no?
“Hmm, who knows its kind of hard to predict how we might change … “she spoke quietly while finishing the last bit of delicious takoyaki. “But I did hear that Mic sense and Aizawa used to be in the same class …so hey there is still some hope no? “ she asked with a coy grin.
“Because I’d like to stay friends with you as long as possible Jun” it may have been blunt but honestly she felt that she could be more honest with him than most people.
“Maybe nothing will change at all. Maybe life will be like high school forever.”
With the serious expression he wore and the tone of voice to match, it was hard to tell if he was JOKING or not. Which, he actually kind of was. Only kind of.
If they all set out to be pro heroes and they actually SUCCEEDED, they’d still all be working together on some level, surely? Like now, only better.
He froze at her blunt way of speaking however, finding it a bit of a rarity to hear as well. It was... surprisingly heartfelt, earning the faintest dusting of pink across his pale cheeks. Jun wasn’t known for his expressiveness, but he did have a certain weakness for affection.
“A-Ah, yeah. I feel the same way, too.”
A strong nod of agreement.
“Maybe we should just open our own agency when we graduate, then it really will be like nothing has changed at all.”
Now THAT was more of a joke. He’d crack under the responsibility.
It was difficult to stay calm when he noticed how flustered he was. His face brightened up once more, he was sure he was looking strange now his head was radiating all this light. He was trying to hide it, but he was a little too late for that. ‘‘Yeah.. I’m.. I’m sure I’ll like it.. here. W-With you.’‘ When he felt a squeeze into his hand he glanced down. He intertwined his fingers with Jun’s and smiled slightly, his hand did feel different, it felt kind of nice. He almost forgot they were in a zoo in the moment, but he suddenly looked up again, taking a step close to the enclosure. ‘‘Oh.. I think I see them. The koalas.’‘ He started smiling when he saw two of them in a tree, he didn’t expect them to be so fluffy looking, he was amazed. ‘’Cute..’‘
This must have been an... INTERESTING sight to those they passed by while trying to find the nearest enclosure. The two of them, walking along and holding hands, both looking incredibly embarrassed about it.
It was hard for Jun to figure out why it was so impossible for him to keep his damn cool right now, but he’d die trying. Perhaps that made the flush across his otherwise ( forcibly ) stoic face even more entertaining.
Fortunately, a blessing came in the form of a fluffy distraction. The koalas had been located, and Dante was quick to point them out, with Jun’s gaze following moments after. A low, singular huff of laughter escaping him, he tilted his head slightly to the side.
“Sitting around in a tree all day, watching the world go by. That’s pretty much the dream, huh?”

“This is my first time at a zoo. I’m just happy about being here with you.. instead of going alone.”
Dante tried to ignore the fact they were holding hands, but somehow the nervous feeling he was having got worse by the second. He looked up at Jun when they stopped at the koalas, it seemed like he wasn’t the only one who was shy about this.
“J-Jun.. Is it okay if we hold hands?” He wondered if he cared about being seen holding hands with a friend, not like anyone was here from school right now.. “Uh.. I think It’s nice to be close to you.. So I don’t mind if you do this, o-or something.” Dante looked down at his feet, his cheeks were burning and he tried to stay calm.
“O-Oh.”
Being here... with him? That’s what he was happy about? If Jun didn’t already look a little flustered then he definitely did now; trying his hardest to keep his expression neutral yet the blush spreading across pale cheeks and the tips of his pointed ears easily giving him away.
“It’s pretty good. I think you’ll like it. The zoo I mean, not me-- uh...”
Clearing his throat, he shook his head. He was usually so CALM, yet all of a sudden... The hand curled around his own definitely wasn’t helping, yet the thought of parting them so soon left him with a bitter taste.
“Sure. It’s... nice to walk around like this, I think.”
Giving a little squeeze of Dante’s hand for emphasis, he couldn’t help but wonder if it really WAS okay. Lifting their entwined hands a little, he peered down at them curiously, finding it a little funny how dainty the other’s hand must have looked against his own clawed paw.

His bluntness never ceased to entertain her, since ever since she got here she did notice that there aren’t many people who are like that. And she truly appreciated that he was honest with her. Snickering a bit she would nod in agreement.
“That might be the possibility I agree that I am maybe a bit too passionate while training”
His mention of having few friends tugged a small smile to bloom across her face. “That I can agree with…my uncle once told me that when you get older the number of true friends you can count on one hand only. Still, I would like that others would stop thinking that I will crush them if they say something wrong…” she added with a silent groan.
“It’s better than... not being passionate ENOUGH, at any rate.”
No matter the school, hero course or not, there were always bound to be some slackers. With how quiet he could be during classes and how reluctant he was to ‘show off’, even Jun himself could be seen as an underachiever, but he was a firm believer that at least with physical training, the more work you put in, the better it would pay off.
“Ah? I suppose that’ll end up being true...”
It was easy to get along with a lot of people while everyone shared class on an almost daily basis, but who knew how long that would last for.
“I wonder how many of us will still be like this even after we graduate. A lot of the teachers at U.A knew each other from school, right?”
‘‘It really is busy..’‘ Dante suddenly felt Jun’s hand around his and he glanced down to see if this really was happening. When he gave it a gently tug he started to get flustered and he looked back at him, his face heating up. At the moment it felt like his heart was going to beat out off his chest. ‘‘S-So.. The koalas first, r-right?’‘ He almost started to stumble over his own words and he softly squeezed into his hand, he did feel anxious in crowds, so it was comforting when he held his hand and was told they would stick together. Eventually he headed towards the koalas, he saw a sign in a distance and followed it. ‘‘Th-Thank you for going here with me, I really like animals.. and I always wanted to go to a zoo.’‘
Jun could be pretty BOLD at times, but now that he’d already gone in for the hand-holding, he could practically FEEL his nerves starting to fray. But, as long as he internalised it, he should be perfectly fine!
Perhaps this was why he didn’t risk glancing back at Dante as they started to walk towards the first animal enclosure, too afraid his embarrassment would become clear the moment Dante got a good look at the shy expression on his face.
“O-Oh? No problem...”
Big problem. Dante was being too CUTE right now.
“But, wait... you’ve never been to one before?”

“You’re doing more than enough trust me on this .. “ she added with a soft chuckle of her own while taking another careful bite of the delicious snack. It has cool down a bit now but she still needed to be careful at the same time she wanted to finish it before they arrived at the kimono shop.
“Ever since I got here people are slightly…awkward to approach and so far I only made 3 friends which are enough, still I do at times feel like an alien “ she added with a sheepish grin.
“So really this might not be much for you but to me…its a gesture that someone with a kind heart would do “
Well, if she INSISTED he wasn’t about to argue. Taking another bite of takoyaki, Jun wore a small smile, one of his elongated fangs threatening to poke out from underneath his lip. Friendship felt pretty great, huh?
“I wouldn’t WORRY about it much. They’re probably just intimidated.”
A blunt answer, but a truthful one at least. Annushka was pretty strong after all, so maybe people were just nervous about getting on her bad side, even if she’d shown nothing but kindness so far.
“Big friend groups are overrated anyway. I don’t think I could handle so much talking at once...”
Class 2-B was more than enough, thanks.
