What was your first encounter with fanfiction?

Oh gosh, that was a long long long time ago…I think it was either for Phantom of the Opera or Pirates of the Caribbean? I can’t remember which one I read first, but I can remember both quite clearly. In retrospect the fanfic for Pirates of the Caribbean was very poorly written, but the Phantom of the Opera one was VERY well done and I’ve often wished I could find it again!

honestly, i hate food. the only food i like is really bad for me, and that always makes me feel guilty, and i wish i didn’t have to deal with it. eating is so unpleasant. i am extremely picky, too, so there’s just not a wide range of food to look forward to eating. :(

What is the best fandom you’ve ever been involved in?

Strange Magic, hands and feet and all parts down. It’s been life changing, it honest to God has, and I’ll never leave it, not truly. It’s given me so much in friends and thoughts and creativity and writing, both my own and others. I can’t wait for when I can get back into actively writing for it again!

Can we talk about Barbara knowing Krav Maga and how she attacked Blinky thinking he was an intruder or how she pepper sprayed Draal? Sure she got overwhelmed by everything and fainted, but that woman was ready to rumble.

God, I LOVE that Barbara knows Krav Maga so freaking much. She has joined Marianne and Roxanne in Female Protagonists Ready To Rumble When Shit Gets Real. 

God, can you just IMAGINE Strickler when he sees her using it? 

Actually, if there’s anyone on this site who knows Krav Maga, several of my fanfics are gonna feature Barbara using it in some capacity and I want to make sure I’m not using improper terminology in her attacks. If you can help a girl out, it would be greatly appreciated...

Seriously, the only thing I can think of is that I could do without some of the bodily function episodes, but everything else is 10/10.

One of my first Dragon Age oc. Her name is Sangrette. She is an older daughter of one Ferelden’s bannor. Before she showed any signs of magic, her hand was promised to Arl of Winter Hills. She dreamed of getting better life, being richer and making family proud but when she turned 18, right before the marriage, she discovered her powers. Her family didn’t like it because they feared magic. They acted like they “didn’t raise her that way” so she felt insecure about that whole thing. Her younger brother didn’t think that it was bad to have magic powers but his opinion didn’t matter. She was thrown to Circle, lost all claims to her family's estates and titles, and lived there for few years. All this time she spent there, she haven’t lost her pride. She read almost every book in the Circle and wanted more and more. She dreamt and searched in the Fade for even more knowledge. She met the Spirit of Wisdom and spent a lot of time with them. She even promised to let them use her body to gain ‘knowledge’ of being a living human. It didn’t turn out that well because she was too proud and vengeful. Her human form was almost shattered. She destroyed her phylactery. And run away in her demon form. It took her months to get back to her old self though she kept changing into beast. Her brother joined templars at age of 13 and tried to find her. 

No signs of her yet.
