If you like the things I draw, you can place a commission!
If you want to see my other drawings you can see my art tag. As mentioned, if you want something done but is not listed in the main price list (or if you're not sure how it counts), you can message me and ask ♥️♥️ DM, ask, or Straw Page are fine.
I also have a Ko-Fi commission page, but the listing isn't complete yet.
I didn't expect the Miniso plushies to be this big...
No Sanji in this batch/set, boo, they really did just have Luffy, Zoro, Ace, and Law. Bad move on their part. The Sanji one would be immediately sold out in a day LOL.
There was a big Grand Gourmet display in the One Piece Day event with many of the characters. I'm not sure if all of them are there. I've been trying to find Rosi, but I can't see him.
I also can't seem to find Roger, even though I see Rayleigh and Gaban. To be fair Oden isn't here either, so I guess people who are already long-dead isn't on this particular display (but will show up in the actual game)
Why does Yonji looks like he's trying to eat the candy-shapped walls? 😭
It's what is celebrated as "Tanabata" in Japan, but the Chinese still observe this festival by the lunar calendar, so the seventh day of the seventh month often falls around August.
Did their outfits somewhat based on the traditional depiction of the Cowherd and Weaver from the Qixi legend, but with a bit of a different spin 🥰
I posted it on Twitter first a while ago, but I think I forgot to post it here OMG.
The scenes are slightly modified to shorten so I can fit it into 4 panels each, because there's a lot of context that would make it too complicated.
Edit: I forgot to warn that the fic is Japanese. You can use "Translate page to English" on Chrome or Edge, but I'll add the summary below if it doesn't work.
Sanji died somewhere around WCI or after, and then was suddenly back in the past, still 7-8 years old in Germa.
Sanji first using all the royalty this and that and everything else nonsense talk to get to Ichiji because he's the ringleader. After all that excuses while asking to "help him train to be stronger", Ichiji agrees because, well, at least Sanji knows his obligations and stuff. And then between training Sanji gives Ichiji snacks and got him to like it and agree to ignore that Sanji is still cooking.
Niji is easier to bait. When he caught Sanji cooking, Sanji said "This is for Ichiji, though" as an excuse to shut Niji up. Then Sanji got Niji to try one of his cookies, and he caved immediately (and starts pestering Sanji for more cakes and cookies). Also when Niji was spying on him, Sanji was reminded of Chopper always failing to hide properly LOL.
Sanji remembers Yonji rambling about the clones, figured that Yonji actually likes research (I LOVE SCIENCE YONJI, IT'S TRUTH TO ME), and used that to bait him to help him farm vegetables. They found some random unused corner in the castle to farm. Also Yonji here kind of feels sad because the others' superpowers are so flashy (electricity, lasers, poison blasts) compared to his, but doing all the plant research actually gets him to actually do something worthwhile.
Then with the harvest from the little garden Sanji makes carrot cake and vegetable quiche and get Niji to eat "healthier" (standard Japanese trope, LOL, putting vegetables in pies or meatballs to get picky kids to eat them).
Well, after all that Sanji still ran away, but he decides that once he figured out how, he'd take all his siblings away.
Fic then continues with Little Sanji somehow finding Little Law and they become friends, but fic is incomplete.
TL;DR if you don't see the other posts, imagine canon but like Germa aren't awful. They're just mad scientists + whacky superhero/supervillains for hire.
Also this is so funny to me even though I'm the one who made it myself ⤵️
Edit: Now I've determined that Sora is still alive in this timeline. It was kind of in a limbo for a while because I wasn't sure if I wanted her to still be dead or alive so I just offscreened her for the most part.
The "Father" and "Mother" marked with * is old-fashioned/samurai-style Japanese honorific that kind of cannot be differentiated in translation (explanation here).
I almost made Ichiji the octopus because it's red and Ichiji's hair is kind of octopus-shaped, but the cactus's :< face won me over. Also I did see that red cactus is a real thing.
Hey mate what's this line meaning when dragon mention germa and they're taking their time can you explain me?
It's nothing special. Just that Germa is no longer a member of the World Government.
The only big deal that may come out of it is that this might mean that they could be at risk of being attacked by World Government now, because they're not a member anymore.
Maybe if the WG does later target Germa again we finally gets to see what happens 300 years ago, who knows.
Of the 4 brothers, Yonji is the only one who ever used "watashi" 私. The others only ever uses "ore" (俺/おれ).
The default for men in One Piece tends to be "ore", while 私 tends to be for formal/fancy style of talking (like the way Shamrock talks) or for girls (who usually speaks more polite). Funny thing is, even Ichiji who speaks the most formal of the 4 still uses "ore". Only Judge also uses "watashi" (because he's Royal‼️ and Very Formal‼️) and Reiju (because girl).
I had seen some Japanese readers wonder about it too. They were saying maybe the setup is that Yonji uses more formal language when talking to "outsiders", and then uses more casual with his own family.
Like in the whole of chapter 826 Yonji uses "watashi", even when angry at Reiju, but during the wedding he then changes to "ore". He kind of doesn't say "I" very often, though, so I can't tell what is his "normal" speech pattern (Japanese language often leave out pronouns).
I've mentioned before that I think Ichiji is just forced to talk like that because Crown Prince/heir, but if he's allowed to talk naturally he is actually very rough and thuggish (details here and here). Maybe actually all of them are forced to be polite outside. I'm only not sure because there's not enough example of Niji talking to outside people.
Or maybe Oda-sensei actually just completely forgot and messed up.
In the original rough draft he had designated each brother to have a different "I", with Yonji's default being "watashi", but then seems to have changed his mind and did... whatever this ended up being. Like in this rough draft Niji's "I" was supposed to be "oira", but he never ended up saying that at all in the final manga. So who knows, maybe sensei forgot, or got mixed up with his own old drafts, it's not impossible.
For my own personal stuff, I do run on the "acts formal outside, less formal at home" idea. The level of polite at home is Reiju > Yonji > Niji ≈ Ichiji = Sanji.
