Sanni Ahola got her first Women's Worlds shutout! Five different players scored a goal, including three defensemen. Sanni Vanhanen picked up two points. Petra Nieminen currently leads the tournament with 8 points.

Sanni Vanhanen, the youngest player to represent Finland at the 2022 Winter Olympics and Finnish scoring leader at the 2022 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship, has signed with HIFK Naiset (Stadin Gimmat) for the 2022–23 season!
Vanhanen previously played with Tappara in Finland's top boys' under-16 league (U16 SM-sarja) but was unable to continue after turning 17 in July.
