Groundhog Day
Someone write me a Groundhog Day style fic where Gendry keeps waking up the morning before the Long Night and reliving all the events through the night of the failed proposal until he manages to get it right. All the weird gory deaths you want, because they don't mean anything. All the long drawn out or quick, hot sex scenes you want, because Gendry gets to try it all over again until he knows all the right ways to touch her. He can turn her down a few times, because what does it even matter (until he catches her with someone else anyway)? Or he could give someone else a try (Podrick? Brienne? Jon?). But it's just not the same.
CRACK SHIPS! Because if they don't work or don't help him, he just doesn't put them together on the next go 'round. Let the Night King win a couple times, it all resets when Gendry dies anyway. Jon kills the Night King! Brienne kills the Night King! Sansa kills the Night King with a Valyrian Steel embroidery needle. Gendry avoids the feast! Gendry turns down the Lordship. What's it going to take change Arya's mind? (And maybe save the Hound in the process.)
