also the whole wolfgang/kala/rajan love triangle, while i’m okay with out it ended, it was developed so weirdly i was constantly blinking at all the time rajan did (or did not?? very unclear) see them kissing and didn’t say anything?? i don’t know it was all weird

I liked Rajan a whole lot in this (all his interactions with Wolfgang were gold and I can totally buy the poly, although as with most things in the special it could have benefitted from more time), but that scene was definitely missing something. I’m assuming a transition, where Kala *physically* leaves Rajan to go to Wolfgang, ended up on the cutting room floor.

"What do you think we would be, if we weren't Shadowhunters?

Alec turned his head, both boys sprawling on the training room floor.

"I never gave it much thought." Alec had a frown on his forehead, because since when did Jace think about doing anything but fighting the shadows.

"Humor me."

So Alec did.

A lawyer. Jace would probably be an athlete.

Modelling with Jace? He cringed.

Opening a coffee shop? Jace would like that.

After a few different scenarios, Alec realized one similar thing.

"With you." Alec smiled. "Whatever I would be doing, I'd be with you."

Jace beamed.

Yes, actually, I was kinda thinking about that - like i saw somewhere a spoiler that Alec would be kinda trusting of or close to Sebastian, because they would be working together and I was mistified about how is that gonna happen, because we know that Alec isn’t very friendly towards strangers - clary, victor, lydia at first - but if they introduce him as an expert on greater demons and as someone who helped izzy, I can totally see why he would let him work at the Institute. The thing is that Sebastian must be motivated by something - like i think that Azazel was his doing and since he out of nowhere went after izzy, I assume he must want something from the Lightwoods or from Insitute. My theory is either the revenge for Jocelyn and therefore him attacking alec (kinda thinking that max might be a collateral ???) OR they are moving the plot around and he is after jace.
